Add Portuguese to Your Video

1) Sign up for Descript for free. You get one free hour of transcription each month, no credit card needed.

2) On the dashboard, click "New Project" and then select "Video Project".

3) Upload your video file. When the "Transcribing..." pop-up appears, choose Portuguese as the transcription language and name the speaker(s).

4) Once the transcription is done, review and correct any errors using Correct mode (press C). Utilize Descript's editing tools, like "Remove filler words," to clean up the transcript.

5) To add subtitles, click on the "Captions" icon. Choose your preferred caption style.

6) Preview your video to ensure the subtitles are properly timed.

7) When satisfied, go to "Publish" to export your subtitled video, or download a standalone subtitle file in SRT or VTT format to upload with your video.
