How to Combine Audio Files

Combining different audio files using Descript is a straightforward process that anyone can master. Follow these steps to get started:

1) Sign up for Descript for free and log in to your account. You have 1 free hour of transcription per month. No credit card is required.

2) Upload your audio file(s) to Descript by dragging and dropping them into the project window. Want to add clips to an existing project? Drag your audio clip directly into the window you're working on!

3) To reorder your clips, highlight parts of the transcript and cut and paste. You can also add a forward slash '/' in the transcript to create scenes which you can quickly rearrange on the left-hand side.

4) Share your combined audio by clicking on Publish then the "Export" button to download the file to your desired location.
