Transcribe MP4 to Text

1) Sign up for Descript for free. Enjoy one free hour of transcription each month without needing a credit card.

2) On the dashboard, click "New Project" and then select "Audio Project".

3) Upload your MP4 file. A "Transcribing..." pop-up will appear. Choose the audio and name the speaker(s).

4) Select the appropriate language for your MP4 file.

5) Once the transcription is complete, press "C" on your keyboard to make any necessary edits.

6) Click Publish > Export and choose your preferred export format. You can also publish it as a web link to share or embed your transcript with Descript's media player.
