Trim Video

1) Sign up for Descript for free. You’ll receive one free hour of transcription each month, and no credit card is required.

2) Upload your video by simply dragging and dropping it into the project window. Descript will handle the rest.

3) After the transcription is complete, you can highlight and delete the sections of the transcript you want to remove from your video by pressing backspace. Alternatively, you can directly trim the video by opening the "Show Timeline" tab in the bottom left corner and selecting the parts of the video you wish to delete.

4) Once you’re satisfied with your edits, share your newly trimmed video by clicking on the Publish button and then selecting "Export." You can also download the file to your preferred location.

• Save Versions: Keep multiple versions of your project so you can easily revert to a previous edit if needed.
