Trim PCM

1) Sign up for Descript for free. You get one free hour of transcription each month, and no credit card is required to get started.

2) Upload your PCM file to Descript by simply dragging and dropping it into the project window. The platform will handle the rest, making it easy to get your file ready for editing.

3) After the transcription is complete, you can trim your PCM file in two ways. You can either highlight and delete the unwanted parts of the transcript by pressing backspace, or you can directly trim the file by opening the "Show Timeline" tab in the bottom left corner and selecting the sections you wish to remove.

4) Once you're satisfied with the edits, share your newly trimmed PCM file by clicking on the "Publish" button and then selecting "Export." You can also download the file to your desired location for easy access.

• Listen Carefully: Play back the trimmed sections to ensure no important audio is accidentally removed.
• Fade In/Out: Apply fade-in and fade-out effects to the trimmed sections to avoid abrupt transitions.
• Save Versions: Save different versions of your trimmed file to easily revert back if needed.
