Transcribe M4A to Text

1) Sign up for Descript for free. Enjoy 1 free hour of transcription per month without needing a credit card.

2) On the dashboard, click "New Project" and then select "Audio Project".

3) Upload your M4A file. A "Transcribing..." pop-up will appear. Choose the audio and name the speaker(s).

4) Select the appropriate language for your M4A file.

5) Once the transcription is complete, press "C" on your keyboard to make any necessary edits.

6) Click Publish > Export and choose your preferred export format. You can also publish it as a web link to share or embed your transcript with Descript's media player.
