Transcribe M4V to Text

1) Sign up for Descript for free. Enjoy one free hour of transcription each month without needing a credit card.

2) Head to your dashboard, click on "New Project," and select "Audio Project."

3) Upload your M4V file. A "Transcribing..." pop-up will appear. Choose the audio and identify the speaker(s).

4) Pick the language that matches your M4V file.

5) Once the transcription is complete, press "C" on your keyboard to make any edits.

6) Finally, click Publish > Export and choose your preferred format. You can also publish it as a web link to share or embed your transcript with Descript's media player.
